    I recently had read Peter Twele s book Rubbing Shoulders in Yemen narrating his experiences as a sociolinguistics researcher in Yemen, and had enjoyed it very much So I wanted to read this newer book, and I wasn t disappointed The setting is now Jordan, and besides Jordanians we also meet many Iraqis, because of the great influx of Iraqi immigrants due to the Gulf War Peter continues in his very personal writing style, and as in his other book, he presents many interesting characters and cult I recently had read Peter Twele s book Rubbing Shoulders in Yemen narrating his experiences as a sociolinguistics researcher in Yemen, and had enjoyed it very much...
